Leg pain can make everyday life harder.
Sciatica can cause pain that travels from the lower back or buttock into the leg, sometimes with tingling or numbness. An exam helps determine what may be causing your symptoms and what care makes sense for you.
Pain that travels
A shooting or burning sensation into your buttock, thigh, calf or foot.
More than an ache
Pins and needles or altered sensation in the leg or foot deserve an evaluation.
Movement feels difficult
Tell Dr. Ryan how your symptoms affect sitting, walking, working or sleeping.
Your first visit. A clear next step.
You’ll discuss your symptoms, have an exam and review your options with Dr. Ryan. If chiropractic care is appropriate, treatment can begin that same day.
The goal is to help you move more comfortably and return to the activities that matter to you. Your recommendations will reflect your exam and how you respond.

Sciatica care questions, answered.
Can I get treatment on my first visit?
Yes, when clinically appropriate. Your $39 new patient visit includes a consultation, exam and treatment when the evaluation shows it is appropriate.
Is every pain down the leg sciatica?
No. Several conditions can cause back, buttock or leg pain. Your evaluation helps determine whether the symptoms fit sciatica and whether chiropractic care is suitable.
How many visits will I need?
Your care starts with a plan built around you. After your exam, Dr. Ryan will recommend a visit schedule focused on helping you move more comfortably and get back to the activities you enjoy. We’ll review your progress along the way and adjust your care as you improve.
Do I need insurance?
No. Back Intact is a cash-based clinic with direct-pay pricing. Call if you have questions about payment before your appointment.
What if chiropractic care isn’t the right fit?
Dr. Ryan will explain the findings and discuss next steps, including referral for medical evaluation when needed.
